the current fire near Mt Diablo....and Mt Diablo State Park....another fairly well known Tourist Location....is currently at 3,200 acres !

I wanted to harvest some scorched Manzanita, it is next to impossible
It is all protected even when it is dead and is a tinderbox.
I am sorry to see the Diablo fire.
The forest will come back rather quickly.
