Even discounting the linguistic aberrations, the fact is that all too often there is an absence of reality based premises and paucity of rational logic.

That, to me, has been the most frightening thing about the reaction to the Zimmerman verdict. Of course, that hasn't been confined to blacks, but it does seem to be endemic in younger, public school-educated people.

Completely emotion-based, with no apparent understanding of facts, evidence, the rule of law, forensic rhetoric, any of the things we value in Western Civilization.

That whole thing about eating skittles being an 'innocent' act that excused the reality of Trayvon attempting to beat a man to death was beyond weird... and they all mouthed it as thought it made sense.
