What is bizarre is that Morse, who most thought would lose big, only lost by a little, While Giron, who most thought might lose, barely, lost big.

Something very weird going on there.

Nothing all that strange, just showing how sample polls and surveys don't really capture the underlying sentiment of the total population.

I read where Giron was also disliked for her support of some water rights policies favoring Denver over her constituents. So maybe that played a part.
