and this will make a difference how? The government is the bureaucracy now. Congress and the courts have little influence. Republicans will still vigorously pursue the Security State and will do nothing that results in the loss of jobs of any bureaucrats. The difference will be only that Our Guys rather than Their Guys will be doing it to us.

You are right of course. I consider it pointless at this time to vote for a Democrat or a Republican. I once believed there was a difference, not anymore.

People like Rand Paul and Ted Cruz are aberrations for Republicans and not the norm.
