Please discuss the Colorado recall election results here. I searched FR and did not find a thread. I have also searched the internet and the CO Secretary of State web site, and have been unable to find any results page for these elections. So, if anybody can find any info, please post here.
Think Morse will challenge the results with a recount?

Let’s hope.
Conceding does not mean anything. There is nothing legal or binding about it. A concession speech is supposed to be a gracious way to congratulate the winner and nothing more. But if the vote changes, then the conceding candidate still wins.
She would need about 66% of the remaining votes to avoid being recalled. Almost impossible.
But she isn’t conceding yet!

Live next on #FOX31 summing up a historic night in #COpolitics. Huge win for #2A supporters; biggest setback for CO Dems in a decade. #COleg
The newspaper in Pueblo is the “Pueblo Chieftain”, and its website is reporting that 63% of the precincts, 70 out of 112, are in. It is also reporting that the total turnout in this district was 33,978. So, still about 10,000 votes to count. Giron needs about 73% of those votes to overturn her deficit.
Ego? Shock? State of Disbelief?
Very good!
Think bears crap in the woods? Of course that ‘rat turd will challenge.
I’ve seen a few cases in NY where re-canvassing discovered “misattributed votes”—that is the only scenario where I could see the gap being made up. I don’t know if Colorado is that creative. It would also look fairly bad as it is a high-profile race.
Happy ping :)
NO legal way she can win now .... no no no way ...
But she isnt conceding yet!

LOL - But even wikipedia has already been updated to show that she was recalled. I’m on the east coast and have to get up at 5:00am, so am calling it a day. But I’m going to sleep with a smile on my face!

>> There used to be a huge union influence from the mostly idled steel mill.
CF&I was union, but THOSE union guys all had guns and fishing rods and (I’m guessing) hated Kenyan monkeys.
The Kalifornians mostly did NOT move into Pueblo.
I’m still wondering what happened to the SE corner of the state I was born into.
State of shock!
She is back—it may be concession time.
