I was excited as anyone else when I heard about this ride 2 or 3 days ago. I kept clicking this and other threads and social media looking for pics of this. And then I read they’re only going to circle the Beltway. And not even during rush hour!
Ok, pray tell.
What does riding around the beltway accomplish if they don’t exit every DC exit and clog the city, at least inconveniencing the elites? They should have clogged the Beltway at 7:30 or 8:00am if they really wanted to make a splash! Or even better, between 4pm and 6pm.
We even apparently structure our protests so as not to inconvenience our betters in the capital of the empire.
Pray tell, what did the Tea Party rally accomplish?

As for what it accomplished: took back the House in 2010.
The big Wisconsin fight that the dems lost was due to the tea party.
