Want to drive a liberal insane?
Tell them that Bush offered Iraq the opportunity to document and turn over all its chemical weapons before he threatened military action.
Obama threatened military action first, and then offered diplomacy after.
He might still attack them if he can find another excuse. The objective is to make Syria a caliphate.
“Heartbreak” happens all over the world where ruthless dictators commit atrocities against their own people. Why take military action only against Syria and not these other countries?
We’re tired of helping people who hate us attain power only to have them turn around and cut our throats by supporting terrorist actions against us.
Hillary says that Obama’s tough stance forced Russia and Syria to make yesterdays offer, It was all part of Obama’s plan.
cant wait to see what comes tonight.
Actually, Obama threatened military action first, and then Putin offered diplomacy after.
No, you don’t “get it” you stupid king wannabe! What you MISS is that, if you could not go after the ones responsible for Benghazi, why should we support your use of military power to avenge strrangers?
First I find it extremely offensive that obama is giving his speech on Syria one day before the worst terrorist attacks in our nations history. Second, he is willing to do more for Syrian rebels then he did for the four Americans who died in Benghazi. What a shame his concern is only for muslim terrorists and not the people of the country he is running into the ground. He should have been impeached long ago.
I can...it is going to a lot of bravado by the asshat followed by he is happy that Assad has gone along with a plan he proposed in private through Putin (which will give Putin another chance to call him a liar).
What I really can wait for is what he is going to do to the US population which refused, en masse, to not support his ideas. Even some of the sycophants were against it and if not, never supported him. Most in his position of a second term would try to keep the party together for unity sake but not this guy...his sole goal has been to get on Mt. Rushmore (which I'd like to see happen in AF-1 at 575mph) and anyone or thing in his way is a speed bump. Lastly, after he leaves this job, he has his sights set on something else, bet on it. Perhaps supreme ruler of the world. His ego knows no bounds. So, hunker down for what is going to be a tough ride for the next 40 months.
I don’t get the Chamberlain anology, maybe I am dumb. Chamberlain returned to England announcing peace in our time had been achieved with Hitler, Obama is not announcing peace with anyone, he is still blustering about attacking Syria for something about which we have no strategic interest no matter how hard they try to parse it.
Meanwhile if the asshat had something at hand to help our strategic interests, get the pipeline built and balance the budget.

It's not about you, America. It's about him. Always.
I can’t help wondering if his real objective was to bomb Syria tomorrow — September 11 — as “reparations” to Al Qaida . . .
First proposed by Congress and immediately dismissed by Mr. Shuck and Jive...
excerpt...
Only concerted international action under United Nations Mandate to enforce the removal of such chemical weapons from Syria can guarantee against their future use by either the Assad regime or the rebel forces.
Such an option was put to President Obama at his press conference:
“I wonder if you leave here and return to Washington, seeing the skepticism there, hearing it here, with any different ideas that might delay military action. For example, some in Congress have suggested giving the Syrian regime 45 days to sign the Chemical Weapons Convention, get rid of its chemical stockpiles, do something that would enhance the international sense of accountability for Syria, but delay military action.
Are you, Mr. President, looking at any of these ideas? Or are we on a fast track to military action as soon as Congress renders its judgment one way or the other?”
It was at this point that the opening available to President Obama to possibly step back from his planned military action — and instead initiate international action at the UN to collect and destroy these chemical weapons — was not grabbed with open arms.
His response was dismissive:
“So far at least, I have not seen ideas presented that, as a practical matter, I think would do the job”

Well, after all. He knows “better” than us. We know that’s true because Hollyweird and MSNBC tell us so/sarc
Obama wishes he was as competent as Nixon was.
What an IDIOT. Totally clueless.
