Like inheritance, those benefits from a lawsuit might be separate even in marriage. Depends on the state and law where he is.
[Lake Mary Deputy Chief Colin] Morgan said there were allegations that Zimmerman came to the home and Shellie's father was the aggressor in the incident. Police say Shellie told them that Zimmerman had his hand on his gun and became aggressive, then punched her father.Probably had to take his hand off his gun to punch dad in the nose, I'd expect.
Police officials later said both Shellie Zimmerman and her father signed statements of non-prosecution.
When I first read about her filing for divorce, the petition included half of future proceeds for any settlement(s) George might receive...how Florida law works, I have no idea.
George probably has a serious case of post traumatic stress disorder.
Finally someone says it. He has a case of survivors guilt or something. He is determined to ruin himself somehow. I hope they get him some help....Not quite to the necessity of Amanda Bynes but getting close. His behavior is destructive. Of course most here would rather ignore the situation like they do with most alcoholics and other destructive lifestyles....until the person dies and then they say, “Oh I guess I should have done more.....” happens all the time.

GZ needs to go to a spy store and get a spy cam to wear 24/7. Video is powerful especially if someone tries to set one up for legal trouble
True. So what? Zimmerman’s lawyer ran over to the house and she is not pressing charges. Look, Zimmerman has been through hell and back and perhaps a break would do him some good. He is obviously seeking attention.
If he goes behind bars—he’s a dead man.

Take a note from the book of Bernie, (Goetz): DISAPPEAR, LAY LOW, MAKE NO WAVES, remove yourself from the public eye, don’t speed your car, don’t drink hootch and don’t mess with messy women.

So you’ve been through a similar incident where everyone from the president, the attorney general, dozens of congressmen and women, the entire international news media (with a handful of exceptions), Hollywood, almost every black person in the world and many millions of others were calling for your conviction and/or murder? Tell us what that was like, man.
He has proven by his repeated altercations with law enforcement after being acquitted that he is a moron, and will either be incarcerated or injured/killed in the not too distant future.
Of course, he could always rent a brain.
