I thought wood comes in the morning ?
Wood still comes, but not joy, not for many years. Probably a good thing, joy is messy.
When I was in bed, I remember some drunk Black fella, a neighbor across the street, was shouting late at night, presumably at his ex or estranged wife, “You took my joy !”
