They need more signs preceding it and a couple of this bumpers hanging down befire the bridge to catch their attention.
As you can see here, it’s pretty clear that you get a warning your vehicle is too high, and have the option to turn right or left to avoid it (and there’s another warning a block north telling you a low clearance).
The road leading up to the bridge has a warning 300’ back of the bridge, so that traffic can make a left/right turn before becoming committed to the path.
