NEW YORK Leftist political activist and University of Chicago professor Bill Ayers has turned on Barack Obama, characterizing the presidents determination to launch a military attack on the regime of Bashar al-Assad in Syria as a dumb war.
In a series of posts on his Internet website over the past few days, Ayers has come out swinging, attacking the presidential candidate he backed in 2004 for trying to justify a U.S. strike on Syria.
In what appears to be satire aimed at mocking President Obama, Ayers posted Sunday, Sept. 8, a diatribe suggesting Assad has already authorized launch missile strikes against the United States.
Ayers wrote: President Assad of Syria announced yesterday that he had authorized limited missile strikes against the United States of America. The United States has consistently violated international law and civilized standards of behavior, he said. It has gathered the greatest arsenal of weapons of mass destruction ever assembled, and it is in fact the only country that has ever used nuclear weapons. It has unleashed drone strikes against at least seven other nations, murdering thousands it has even used drones to kill its own people. And the U.S. has routinely employed torture, a practice that has been condemned and outlawed for decades it has even tortured its own citizens.........

There are no public telephones anymore, and calls don’t cost a dime.
I think the correct statement to use is that someone will instagram a picture of Reggie and Zero “playing spades”.
The snake rots from the head and it’s time the US Congress do it’s duty and remove an out of control and incompetent regime.... The Obama regime.
A prison grave yard.
Ha, I have had more leftie acquaintances that are suddenly fast political allies and tight friends, this week, as we rant and rave about Obama’s trigger finger and saber rattling. Obama has truly united the country in spite of himself.
On this one issue, perhaps. But Bill Ayers is no "friend", Laz.
Up is down, left is right. Bill Maher & Bill Kristol versus Michael Moore & Glenn Beck.
Mister Ayers is giving his BFF's, Mister Obama's, foolish plans inverse legitimacy by criticism from a person generally regarded as radical; and...
One suspects that they both know it.
.
Are both Obama and Ayers lackeys of the Muslim Brotherhood?
“Bill Ayers, the enemy of my enemy, has just become my friend.”
You should accept the possibility that the enemy of your enemy is still your enemy. That appears to get truer and truer the closer you get to the middle east.
What I don’t understand is why this Commie son of a bitch is still breathing Gods great air.
All due respect Laz, the “Hit It King’’ of Free Republic but some enemies of ones enemies are just too... ‘’enemy-ish’’. But if one of these two were to knock the other one off, I guess you could give him a big hand and a ‘’well done old boy. And then blow him away too. Jus’ sayin’.
And just how exactly did bill ayers get out of prison?
Evil tends to do that.
The critical evidence against him was obtained by an illegal wiretap. His case was thrown out of court.
Of course, his daddy may have written a large check to make that happen...
Factually incorrect. We used atomics. Nuclear weapons have never been used against another country by anybody.
and lots of countries, like Russia and France exploded such bombs, just not on another country.
That is what I said.
Unless I misunderstood Bill, he was referencing Hiroshima and Nagasaki. Those bombs were atomic, not nuclear.
right.
And I am not sure why people say it like it (Nagasaki, Hiroshima) was a bad thing either.
The carnage of a full scale invasion of Japan would have been unimaginable. This was only avoided by using the atomic bomb.
