Benedict Arnold was a war hero also.

You are correct. Some do consider McCain a hero, and it is really weird how a lot of people consider Snowden to not be a hero despite some rather obvious parallels. But then again, we see the same sort of thing regarding Romney/Obama: somehow their socialist/statist is worse than our socialist/statist, despite being political clones. I think McCain has worn his war record out just like I think Obama has worn his color out. I have nothing against either of them for any reason but, and I’m not anti war or racist, there comes a time when you have to be responsible for your actions and I think both of them have been given far to many free passes for their actions and inactions.
