Not sure if it’s relevant, but as you can see from the photo, Union Square is a beautiful part of lower Manhattan, just above the Village. But it has long been a center for protestors, at least since the Vietnam anti-war Protestors, and is also an occasional site for muggings.

I’m less disturbed by the press’s refusal to admit what is happening in these crimes, and more disturbed by the part Obama and his race-baiting pals have been playing, as they go on the evening news and call upon blacks to KILL WHITEY!

Union Square protests go all the way back to the 19th Century. It is a beautiful part of Manhattan - I lived near it for two years - but it does attract some weirdos as well as nice people. Poor man. Terrible story.
