The school district in Little Rock, Ark. has announced plans for a dress code that will require teachers to wear underwear. Every single day. Female teachers will have to wear bras, too.
An Aug. 29 letter from the Little Rock School District’s Office of the Superintendent to all employees explains that the dress code will officially go into effect in the fall of 2014.
“Foundational garments shall be worn and not visible with respect to color, style, and/or fabric,” the letter reads. “No see-through or sheer clothing shall be allowed, and no skin shall be visible between pants/trousers, skirts, and shirts/blouses at any time.”
T-shirts, patches and other clothing containing slogans for beer, alcohol, drugs, gangs or sex will also be prohibited. Other verboten garments will include cut-off jeans with ragged edges, cut-out dresses and spaghetti-straps if teachers aren’t wearing at least two layers.
Flip-flops will be banned. “Tattoos must be covered if at all possible.” No jogging suits, either (though gym and dance teachers do get a pass on this one).
And the very worst of all: No spandex.
Organized labor vocally opposes the new universal underwear requirement and the rest of the non-draconian dress code.

the teachers should dress professionally, I was livid when one of the middle aged sex pot first grade teachers at our grade school was wearing shorts and sandals. The other first grade teacher always wore skirts and blouse and a blazer and hose and looked very pulled together.
And the really sad part about this whole thing.....
the fact that a dress code has to be put into
writing and enforced. Teachers want to be
treated like professionals but don’t want to
act like professionals.

The amazing thing about people going commando is it’s NEVER somebody you’d like to see. So, here’s a rule of thumb. If you think it would make you look more attractive to show more body, the opposite is likely true. (See the Geraldo selfie. Putin may look good for his age, but not “good” in general.)

That sounded like the standard STUDENT dress code when I was a kid. Obviously, the teachers need to held to the same standards as students (at a minimum).
Arguably, one of the single funniest Seinfeld scenes ever.
They need to codify this?

I’ll take the new teachers, up to about 30-35. You can take the senior teachers.
This requirement will help with unemployment:
Every school will have to hire an underwear inspector who will have a booth at the teacher entrance to make sure they are wearing approved garments. And since we cannot discriminate, it could be either sex, any race, any sexual orientation, any religion....MUST, of course not discriminate against ex-cons. Yea, this is a great idea! <S
You take the male teachers, I'll take the females.
instead of legislating draws....why not just legislate if you 'show'... that goes for braless wonders and whatever else might 'show' .

Not much point to this when the principals and the system are whoring the teachers out.
