Graham met with President Obama on the issue in a closed-door session at the White House on Labor Day and said Thursday he’s hosting a dinner for Vice President Joe Biden on Sunday with about 13 or 14 Republicans.
Will Obama be back in time to pop in and help with the “whipping”?
The respective leaders say they will not “whip,” but the legislators need to be “whipped” into shape before any more truth gets out.
1) Chem weapons used? (assume that is stipulated)
2) WHO used them? (no smoking gun-—even a few Dems have come out of classified briefings unconvinced...or worse, feeling intelligence has been manipulated)
3) Impossible to secure chem weapons without boots on the ground -—or even eliminate chem weapon delivery systems-— they are small and mobile
4) Help the “moderates” by taking out Assad’s air power and air bases -— with a certainty, a move toward regime change...from Assad to Al Qaeda/MB
