"...fatally shot when he allegedly tried to rob a convenience store..." I tell ya what... start having anti-robbery vigils, and maybe events like this will take care of themselves...

...police say was fatally shot when he allegedly tried to rob a convenience store....... That would not be 'murder', it's a job hazard...........

Shirley, this is not for real. This has got to be satire. You have to be kidding me.

I assume the point of the “anti-violence” vigil was to decry the violent action of the late Javon (rhymes with Trayvon) Booker, who tried to rob a convenience store?

It’s real.
Javon wouldn’t hurt nobody. He’s was an aspiring rapper, going back to school, good to his kids, made a mistake, got in with the wrong crowd...

Mothers of Murdered Offspring sponsored the vigil,
calling attention to last Thursdays death of Javon Booker,
who police say was fatally shot when he allegedly tried to
rob a convenience store on Tom Hunter Road in north Charlotte. Hmm...
Odd definition of Murder
Lawful killing during commission of a crime more likely

From the article, and my response, which cannot be added because I refuse to use Facebook:
Mothers of Murdered Offspring "The real message of last night's vigil was a lesson to other young people doing things they shouldn't....violence is NOT THE WAY, consequences are REAL, and death is FOREVER." With all due respect, I wonder how many of the attendees took that message away with them and will stress it to their children. Had Javon Booker's parent(s) done that there might be a story about him being accepted to a university or becoming engaged instead of his being shot down in commission of a crime.

does a family hurt any less because their loved one was doing something wrong when they died....Yeah, but did he HAVE a family, where were they? Did they teach the little bastard and who paid for him? Did Dad ID the body? I’d highly doubt that.

The fact that blacks in America seem to sympathize with black thugs and don't publicly condemn them for their crimes leads non-blacks to one conclusion: for blacks, being black trumps all other legal, moral, and ethical considerations. Non-Black America Experiences a Paradigm Shift

It was a mistake. He went in the store to ask for directions to the Charlotte Opera Company’s production of The Flying Dutchman but accidentally said “Give me all the money in the register or I kill everybody up in this m#@&*^er”.

Couldn’t be because of a culture of anger and violence in that community, could it? Nah. It’s whitey creepy-a$$ cracker who’s to blame.
