Kirsten Powers is a doctrinaire liberal who sometimes comes out of the liberal cocoon of theory and admits what rational people already understand. She has not been a rabid Obama supporter but rather favors his positions because they are are compatible with her own left-wing positions. In addition, Obama is a racial minority, giving him an extra measure of respect in Power's view. In the case of Obama giving back his Nobel Peace Prize, she is right but as we all know, the Nobel Peace Prize has long been diminished by the rank leftist political manipulations that have given it to terrorists (Arafat -'94) and leftist ideologues such as Barack Hussein Obama, a man who accomplished absolutely nothing to deserve the award - and even Obama knew it. The Nobel Peace Prize has become irrelevant and confers no real status on recipients anymore, even though a few deserve it.

Bill O'Reilly makes 10 million per year for apparently knowing everything there is to know and his 8 P.M. show gets very high ratings so his ego is enormous and he doesn't try to hide it, although he does attempt to make light of it sometimes. However, when O'Reilly takes up a cause, as in his conviction that the U.S. should attack Syria because Assad allegedly used poison gas on non-combatant women and children, he is relentless and does not brook much dissent. O'Reilly dismisses conservative opposition to attacking Syria as simply the right-wing despising Obama so much that they'll oppose anything he wants to do. O'Reilly also believes the U.S. has a moral duty to 'punish' Assad for using chemical weapons and he believes that if Assad isn't punished, other rogue nations will use these weapons with relative impunity. I guess he thinks Iran will halt their nuke development out of fear of the U.S.

However, lately O'Reilly has softened his stridency a bit as he realizes that the nation is not behind a military attack on Syria, especially with the feckless Obama in charge. O'Reilly is now saying that debate is good. A sure sign that the massive negative feedback he is likely receiving for his position is making him realize that in fact, others may actually have a point beyond pure partisanship. Yet I seriously doubt that O'Reilly will ever admit that he was wrong about attacking Syria. This is who the man is and you can either take him, leave him or watch him and filter out his egotism and sometimes muddled positions that attempt to be on both sides of an issue and calling that 'independent'.

If he'd done something to earn it in the first place and then abused it, I'd say, sure, give it back.

But, frankly, at this point, I think 0bama should keep it and display it proudly to mock them as much as he mocks everything else. Maybe it'll serve as a cautionary tale. The committee likes to play politics and poke its fingers in the eyes of other qualified candidates, let him spit in their faces.

This is the same chickenhawk warmonger who was hell-bent-for-leather on attacking Iraq, a country that had absolutely nothing to do with the 9/11 attacks on this country. He bought into the neocon fabricated WMD story, and said if there turned out to not be any WMDs he would publicly apologize on his program and his support of the invasion would end. Instead of apologizing when no WMDs were found he started spouting the neocon party like about “freeing oppressed people”, “Saddam was a bad man that needed to go”, blah, blah, blah. So in this loudmouth’s eyes it is perfectly OK to attack a country, then change the reason for the attack a half-dozen times when the stated reason turned out to be false. And it’s perfectly OK to waste about a trillion US dollars, get over 5,000 American soldiers killed and hundreds of thousands of Iraqis because their ruler was “bad man” that needed to go.
He makes me sick to my damn stomach. When the SOB starts belittling military officers and telling them they don’t know what they’re talking about, and he knows more than they do, it’s time for this egotistical chickenhawk draft-dodger to be reined in.

Could never understand why Kirsten Powers continues be a democrat. She calls herself pro-life and says marriage should be a religion institution and government should stay out of it, but continues to support the most radical pro-abortion and pro queer “marriage” president in American history. Either she’s a hypocrite or just a dizzy blonde.
I know one thing, she’s too good looking to be a democrat.
