A defeat in Congress would be a massive blow to the Obama presidency, as well as to the president’s personal credibility, and could well amount to the biggest humiliation of his career so far.

Enough reason to vote NO right there.

The bill will pass if that is really what the kenyan wants. Pelosi can always whip the votes she needs and will get the Dems to vote for it. Then enough GOP votes will peel off and the stinking pile of a bill will get passed. Everybody in leadership wants it passed. The only question is if the kenyan really wants the green light from Congress.

Most of the democrat(and republican) congress men and women care more about their own political career than they do about voting with the president. They remember the smack down they took in the last off year congressional elections.

Keep in mind many democrat voters do NOT vote in off year elections. They know if they vote for war with Syria and the SH*T hits the fan, their opponent in the 2014 primary and election will hammer them with it. They do not want to fall off the gravy train and actually have to go get a real job. Then they will have to give up that special parking place at Reagan airport.
