He got a Purple Heart because he threw a hand grenade in some rice and one piece of rice went through his shirt while running away. He shot a grenade launcher at something too close and got another Purple Heart. He is an expert at a phony setup.
I met a Seal that had 9 Purple Hearts. He never mentioned one.
