In Arab culture, the guy who shows up last is the most important man. Having busness meetings with middle-easterners drove me nuts. Everybody wanted to be last. Sometimes they’d show, but would go back to their desk if they weren’t the last one.
But I’m sure that when it’s a time to pay a bill ,the last one will be the first one to leave :-)
