The nation's fertility rate stabilized last year for the first time in five years, according to early data from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. That follows four years of big declines during the economic downturn that pushed the ratethe number of births per 1,000 women aged 15 to 44to the lowest levels on record.

I have four neighbors who had babies in July and early August, all said it was fallout from hurricane Sandy.

I think the odious nature of abortion is settling in regardless of what liberals would tell young women.
I sure would like to know how many of those New borns are children of American citizens and not illegal aliens or people just arriving from the third world by the thousands every day.
From what I have seen in your major metro areas,those children are mostly the kids of illegals.
The stats are just stabilizing. There’s no increase and there’s actually no stats saying it won’t continue to drop.
All of my kids aged 24 to 29 are putting off getting married and settling down. It’s mostly due to economics.

Yes, a demographic breakout would be nice. The productive classes are not multiplying like the parasite class in my experience.
In my area (northern NJ) one or four Hispanic women is pregnant, while zero out of four white women are. This has gone on for years, and the damage showed in Obama’s elections.
Without drastic action, this damage (and it is damage) is permanent.
