I’ll join the chorus and say, “Why not now?”
Why wait...The conservatives NEED these next 14 months to construct some type of Constitutionalist Party. A Party that truly listens to the electorate, truly represents the whole nation's needs/wishes/security/prosperity in its adherence to our Bill Of Rights. The next 14 months to derive an adequate, constructive, message and booster a competent (fire-in-their-belly) messenger.
He’ll “step down” later after he pushes amnesty through now.
Political posturing to take the heat off.
Within the next minute would be a lot better.
He’s feeling our love....../S
I just about fell out of my chair when I read the headline. This is the first place I’ve seen any mention of him stepping down. You sure this is legit? I mean, there’s no need to get our hopes up only to dash them. /sarcasm off
that’s too late. by that time 2014, his face will be stuck to obama’s ass permanently
Hallelujah and pass the ammunition!
His uselessness will continue as he rides out his time....there is no representation of the people in Washington...musical chairs is the game!
...” that means he’s deep in zeros hip-pocket now...no worries about holding his job, so can do whatever he is directed to do with impunity”....
Yep...and he won’t blink at all about what he determines along the way now...no accountability.
Best news I’ve heard since the Ft. Hood terrorist was forcibly shaved at Ft. Leavenworth.
Why not today?
One more RINO off the books. Please don’t run for office. Anywhere. As a GOP anyway.
And don’t let the door hit you in the cryin ass on the way out.
Stepping down to save face. He was set to be primaried anyway.
Good riddance RINO!
Do it now.
At the rate the Republicans are going, he probably isn’t going to be in a position to be speaker anyway. He needs to step down now to give the Republicans some chance of retaining the House in ‘14.
The House has a whole line-up of feckless non-Conservative people ready to take over, Cantor being the first in line. It’s his turn you know.
As some have already said, I’ll believe Cry-Boehner quits the SOH when I see it.
BTW, is someone going to challenge him in the primary?
