The only wildcard is, What will Russia and China do?
Laugh at us more?

Congress would have to authorize it.
Due to Obozo’s self-imposed limitations on Syria, Congress now controls him in this regard.
We need a stronger Congress, and a weaker Executive anyway, as things have gotten out of hand, Constitutionally speaking.
Forget impeachment. As FReeper Old Sarge, I believe it was wrote, Obama could eat new born babies in the White House dining room and all the reaction he would get would be the media and Republicans complimenting him on his table manners. There is nothing under the sun that Obama could do to cause him to be impeached and the chances are even more remote that he would be removed from office.
I don’t think that is possible. Maybe less, but not more.
One of my brother’s will retire from the USAF next year.
You guys lived better in Nam than we lived back in the States. LOL
Is this general still on active duty? If he is, he may be relieved of command very soon.
That’s the $17 trillion question. I don’t think China will do anything militarily, but they could be a real pain in the back on some other front (economics). Russia is the real wildcard. What will they do? How much commitment to they have with Syria?
Re. 0dumb0’s ill-fated and down right stupid “red line” ultimatum, I hope that Putin & Russia kicks 0dumb0’s ass really hard irregardless of what happens in or to Syria. Go Putin! FUBO!!!
If they are smart, just continue watching the U.S. implode.
China in particular needs to do nothing. Their investment in SE Asia dwarfs America’s.
Are you a Vet?
I’m talking about Fort Polk, LA in 1971. Old, dilapidated World War II barracks.
From what I saw, the Navy and Air Force lived better than that in Nam.
Uh, okay.
We bombed that backwater Serbia for Moslems but 20 years hence with improved technologies we can’t bomb this place?
Who would have thought.
I guess “Team Saudi Arabia World Police” isn’t what they used to be.
“The Air Force is important. I understand that. But no significant military objective can be obtained without boots on the ground.”
Agreed. Dunkirk. All those Brits and free French rescued off that beach would’ve been captured or killed en masse had the Germans done more than just strafe them.
Winning wars has always been about taking ground away from the guy who’s trying to hold it. You can’t do that with air power alone.
