You can’t tax the poor who don’t have jobs and we’re already regaining at least some of the taxpayer dollars we give them when they pay sales tax.

Big business actually does OK in Detroit and more is coming all the time as taxes rise elsewhere and make Detroit more attractive. Business is putting big bucks into Detroit these days.

What Detroit needs is homeowners and small businessmen (It needs a middle class) Things are still too tough for them there but I think they will get better as the corruption is rooted out. Just last week a full 10% of Detroit building inspectors were charged with solicitation of bribery and taking bribes. The union fund manager was also fired last week.

You are a lot more optimistic about Detroit than I am. But then, I am pretty pessimistic about CA, IL also.

I am glad to hear those inspectors and union thugs got busted for corruption.
