Absolutely astonishing that Boehner is making this monumental mistake. It will be interesting to see how many Republicans actually vote with him to declare war on Syria and involve the United States in a bloody Mideast quagmire. Those that vote for war must be held accountable and punished severely.

Not "astonishing". Boehner knows someday we'll have a Republican president who will need support for a real emergency in the future & Democrats will use any excuse vote against him.

Even if Obama loses the Congressional vote he said he'll do it anyway. There's no way for the GOP to win on this.
