Why has military intervention suddenly become so hip? Because everyone knows it’s just a symbolic action to “make a statement” without actually committing ourselves to anything or accomplishing anything? Because Obama is a Democrat? Because too many politicians of both parties still believe we should be the policemen of the world and - depending on who is in the White House - will support military intervention along largely partisan lines? All of the above?

Every President wants to be a “War President.” Even the ones who pretend they’re pacifists.

The United States has become the greatest bedouin raider on the planet and I think the Saudis appreciate that.

The problem is not so much random outliers as systematic outliars.

Lugar’s comment only strengthens my opinion that Palin is right that we should “Let Allah Sort it Out.”

“random outliers”?!?!?!

I remember when the Republican Party were on TV the day after the 2012 election calling TEA Partiers and patriots “exotics”.

What will we be calling the Republican Party when they are split up by Third Party votes?

Every congressman exhibits Stockholm Syndrome after several years in office. Move the capitol somewhere else.

That’s why we need Term Limits.

If guys like Lugar, McLame, McConnell, Lindsey et. al. aren't walking advertisements for TERM LIMITS I don't know who are!

Lugar got “term limited” in the primary.
And now we have “Obama Joe” Donnelly for 6 years.

Yeah another half dozen or so of these Pyrrhic victories and we’ll have Dingy Harry running the Senate until he’s 90 yrs old LOL.

Like it matters, not a dime’s worth of difference between the two parties anyway.

FU Lugar

Yup.

Whatever Lugar, McCain, Graham, Cantor, Boner, and McConnell are for, I'm against.

Its so disheartening that we have to fight these GOP idiots in addition to the treasonous left.

lugar... that is a single glob of phlegm filled spittle... as opposed to a lugie... which is the plural of lugar.

I think Ann Coulter and a few others were wrong on Indiana.

I think the primary of Dick Lugar was a great thing regardless of the outcome. He deserved to go.

If you got so many Ayotte’s voting for liberal judges and amnesty I think you would be better off with a stronger 41 than weak 51.
