FURIOUS politicians have demanded Prime Minister David Cameron explain why chemical export licences were granted to firms last January.
BRITAIN allowed firms to sell chemicals to Syria capable of being used to make nerve gas. Export licences for potassium fluoride and sodium fluoride were granted 10 months after the bloody civil war in the Middle East began. Yesterday, politicians and anti-arms trade campaigners urged Prime Minister David Cameron to explain why the licences were granted. Dunfermline and West Fife Labour MP Thomas Docherty, who sits on the House of Commons Committees on Arms Export Controls, plans to lodge Parliamentary questions tomorrow. He said: At best it has been negligent and at worst reckless to export material that could have been used to create chemical weapons. Ps will be horrified and furious that the UK Government has been allowing the sale of these ingredients to Syria." The SNPs leader at Westminster, Angus Robertson MP, said: I will be raising this in Parliament as soon as possible to find out what examination the UK Government made of where these chemicals were going and what they were to be used for. Approving the sale of chemicals which can be converted into lethal weapons during a civil war is a very serious issue. We need to know who these chemicals were sold to, why they were sold, and whether the UK Government were aware that the chemicals could potentially be used for chemical weapns. The ongoing humanitarian crisis in Syria makes a full explanation around these shady deals even more important. The Government have refused to identify the licence holders or say whether the licences were issued to one or two companies.

The list, Ping
Let me know if you would like to be on or off the ping list
Oh my! The Brits sold sarin gas to Syria.
Funny, I don’t recall seeing that in the US intelligence reports.
How convenient for them to leave this out.
Damn their bloody eyes!! Bomb them to hell!!
oops.
Probably because both chemicals have lots of applications that have nothing to do with weapons. Sodium fluoride is used in toothpaste.
Who these chemicals were sold to in Syria, ans [sic] why were they sold?
There are many other uses for potassium fluoride and sodium fluoride other that nerve (Sarin/VX) agents. Do you think this is a "smoking gun?"

LOL! And when they get there, may they each have one 72 year old virgin
waiting on them!
How many muzzies are in Britains political cadre?
Enough to be able to swing deals and get them called "Britain" ?
Keith Ellison could cut a deal with Canada and have it reported as "Minnesota cuts deal with foreign country"
This gets richer and richer. Well I guess our answer should be let Britain clean up their own mess.
This is just Cameron's political enemies trying to make him look bad.
How convenient for them to left this out of all of their youtube vids posing as an *intelligence report*.
OOPS! Hi there pm cameron!
Jane, do you remember the rag tag Japanese group that set off sarin
gas on a train in Japan? If a rag tag group can get sarin gas, it is highly
likely the Jihadist Rebels got it too.
Smith’s Grocery Store just sold me some Clorox and Ammonia, you want answers from them too?
Right Flank ... Rear!
No doubt about that.

“Smiths Grocery Store just sold me some Clorox and Ammonia, you want answers from them too?”
Yes, and how about that diesel and the ammonium nitrate fertilizer that the farmer purchased to grow food for us all! Still it would, however, be good to know what it’s stated use was supposed to be.
Before they started foisting it off on us in toothpaste, sodium fluoride was a byproduct of metallurgy processes in the US, they had no real plan as to what to do with it.
We’d be better off with calcium fluoride in the toothpaste than sodium fluoride, if they really cared about tooth health and overall health.
