You're welcome. Hope that answer wasn't too short. Basically, all of the reactors and pools start melting down, burning and possibility even going critical a time or two. There are a half dozen reactors in that location and numerous fuel storage pools as well. If the radiation gets too high, the area will have to be abandon and eventually the cooling pumps stop, then the meltdowns begin occurring.

It would be a tremendous catastrophe, not only for Japan, but the entire world.

I do not understand what "GOING CRITICAL" means. That's why I am asking.
