This Congress (repubs at least) is afraid of Obama and will continue to do what Obozo wants. Don’t see why this time will be any different than any other issue.

So the Reps will commit political suicide to please Obama? And how many Dems will support what amounts to unilateral military action (w/o UN approval or NATO for that matter) against Syria? And what kind of action will they approve? Will it be contingent upon regime change type action or just a pinprick?

We know what the McCains want, but he is in a distinct minority. He will want more extensive strikes and regime change. The wording of the resolution will be critical to the kind of support it gets.
