You are off the track.

First, FR keeps those of us that do not have the time to read every paper in the US up to date on what is going on.

2ndDivisionVet is a good example of someone who has posted hundreds of articles that we never would have found on our own.

Also never forget that one strategy alone is not enough. Each of us works on the problem in our own way. Some march as you do, others write (don’t forget that the pen is mightier than the sword and oppressive governments realize that because shutting down free speech is always at the top of their list), and some of us too old or too busy to march contribute large sums of money.

So don’t think your way is the only way. It is a good way and effective, but it is not the only way.

For instance Rush does not march. Nor have I heard of Michelle Malkin marching. Maybe I slept through that day, but they do contribute very effectively in their own way.

I would also remind you that you have no idea how many freepers write or call their congress critters as a result of what they see here on FR.

So take a cool pill and go to bed.

I call my reps about twice a month from articles posted here. I also call our local radio station frequently and deliver information I read off of here. Many times this has cause the phone lines to fill up in response to what I have called about. Not only do the lines fill up but letters are written to the station from what I have called about from listeners.

I never post on here about what I have done but that does not mean that what others have posted here is of no value. I suspect that many others do the same as I do.

Yes absolutely Free Republic should continue.
