Absolutely. You can NEVER become complacent or forgetful about possession of a firearm. It’s not like a cell phone or car keys.

Well, ... Let me see.

There's that Second Amendment thing,..."the right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed." Nope, I don't see an exception which allows the federal government to interfere in the operation of an airline by infringing the right.

If an airline doesn't want you carrying, then they have a right to limit you or exclude you. They don't have a right to have you convicted of a crime for bearing arms.

It shouldn’t be illegal for us to carry on an airplane.

Period.

It’s a Right, not a “suggestion” or a “privilege”.

I hope they fight this to the SCOTUS.
