She should’ve worn a burqa and all would have been OK. If caught carrying a gun she would have received an apology.

Actually, that was a possessive noun. If you can read it as “the wife of Ted Nugent”, then it’s right to write it like that. Not nitpicking, honestly! Correct me if I’m wrong, all you English majors.

It must be too hard to get a crossbow into a carry on bag.

All she has to do is join the Black Panthers and plead ignorance of the law.

More than likely she was in a hurry and forgot to check it properly. That’s what I’m guessing.

She probably forgot. On my last plane trip I used a piece of luggage I usually use only for road trips. I carry a pair of scissors with me on the road. Well quess what? That piece of luggage did not get red-flagged until my return home. It went through at least two airport screening detectors without setting off any alarms.

I had completely forgotten that I had them on me until my return home.

Something similar probably happened to Shemane.

Yup. My dagger got confiscated on leg 3 of a 4 leg trip.

I carry bacon now.

Well, ... Let me see.

There's that Second Amendment thing,..."the right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed." Nope, I don't see an exception which allows the federal government to interfere in the operation of an airline by infringing the right.

If an airline doesn't want you carrying, then they have a right to limit you or exclude you. They don't have a right to have you convicted of a crime for bearing arms.

Texas State Senator Juan “Chuy” Hinajosa attempted to board an aircraft at McAllen, Texas airport while carrying a gun in his briefcase and law enforcement officials decided “it was just an honest mistake” and chose to not press charges.

Aw shucks Senator, just a little mistake.

It shouldn’t be illegal for us to carry on an airplane.

Period.

It’s a Right, not a “suggestion” or a “privilege”.

I hope they fight this to the SCOTUS.

Then that's what Shemane should use to back her defense.

Yeah—I heard about this-—guess when you own so many guns, it’s hard to keep up with all of them......

It will be interesting to watch as the charges against the NBPP felon who illegally had a gun were dropped yesterday.

There should be no apostrophe. It’s simply a plural — more than one Nugent. There’s no possessive in the sentence. The only way “Nugent’s” would be correct would be if it were “Ted Nugent’s wife” or “Shemane Nugent’s gun”. One Nugent possessing something. If a gun belonged to both Ted and Shemane, then it would be “Nugents’ gun”. More than one Nugent. Wondering how both of them would handle a situation is just a plural. No possessive; no apostrophe.
