RE: Kim Jong-un, the North Korean leader, has a public approval rating of over 50 per cent, according to a poll of escapees living in South Korea.
So, if these escapees approve of Kim Jong Un:
1) Why did they escape?
2) Why don’t they go back to a regime they approve of?
3) Why didn’t the pollsters ask the above questions?
My read was that they were asked what *other* N Koreans thought. Even though the defectors may not like him, most of them apparently feel that he has majority support.
