I am on unemployment right now and must log each job I apply for (several per week) in addition to attending job fairs etc. I have no problem with this but was thinking the other day what are the requirements for those on welfare? Nada. And that needs to change.

I worked at two state’s unemployment offices for almost 15 years as a veteran’s rep., welfare-to-work trainer and supervisor. Every state runs their operation a little differently, but some don’t even require much work search reporting from claimants any more.

Welfare changed in 1996, and will have to change further, because whites have discovered it the way their urban brethren did decades ago (and adjusted their work/breeding habits accordingly). While this helps the likes of President Food Stamps get elected, it has ruined the economy and is unsustainable.
For sure! Much of the job fair scene is nothing more than theatre as I am sure you have discovered. Way too many of the companies are not even hiring. They are just attending an event to prove they cannot find Americans for a position so they can import an Hb-1 indentured servant. I applied for a position once at one of these shows where my resume had about 99 percent of what they specified in an ideal candidate. The recruiter pretended to be all excited and promised a call back within the next few days. Not a peep. They were conveniently never available when I called back, nor did they return a phone call. Total scam!
