Remember all the similar articles in the run-up to the 2008 election about Obama’s constitutional eligibility to become president?

I do. It was hotly debated here, and I remember saying: this issue won't go away after Obama was elected. And, it didn't.

I don't think Obama is eligible, and I don't think Cruz is eligible. However, that has absolutely no bearing on what I think of either person. I loathe one, and admire the other. You can guess which is which.

I'm not willing to compromise the Constitution because it gets in the way of "my guy".
