Theres etiquette for being a world leader. You never, never say anything bad about another world leader. Thats because you will, at some point, need that leaders cooperation for something. Therefore, a bad history between the two of you is unacceptable. Controlling any potentially negative message is probably why you dont see any other world leaders on popular gossip shows. You, as a world leader, have no idea how the show might edit your comments to achieve ratings. Therefore, the WL wisdom is to stay clear. Had Obama paid his dues, spent more years in lesser positions, he’d know how to behave. This is one problem with affirmative action in politics. Candidates arrive in positions they’re unqualified to fill.
Rules are different for leaders like Chavez, Castro and Ahmadinejad. Their countries are outliers on the political fringe and they cant further harm their standing by being critical of other world leaders. From this perspective, Obama is in their league more so than in Putins league.

Your right. The next President is going to have to have his work cut out for him. First visit is Russia....nope I don’t want him to kiss Putin’s ass but we don’t need Russia being a foe.
Great post, General. Thanks for taking the time to post a cogent observation.
Your Post #19 was an excellent summation.
