Exactly. It sounds like he just assumed that his people did it, just like a lot of people. That’s not proof of anything other than the weapons were used and a Syrian commander was not pleased about it. His presumption is not evidence of anything.
I’m not saying Assad did or didn’t back it. I’m just saying this is proof of nothing.
