And how do we the people hold elected PsOS accountable? Email them? Call them? Snail mail them? Big deal, they pay no attention. Try to elect better ones? They lie to get elected. Open primaries. The R party gives creeps the money, etc. Or they just lose their moral compass and spine when they get to deecee and get blackmailed or threatened.

Exactly. (Daniel Greenfield's recent article about Schizophrenic Elephant, the reason why the R party is the steaming pile that it is comes to mind.)
