On Wednesday, Maryland Governor Martin O'Malley, a Democrat who will likely run for president in 2016, said the lives of "people of color" are valued less than those of whites in America.
Speaking on the 50th anniversary of Martin Luther King's "I Have a Dream" speech in Washington, O'Malley said there is "too much apathy" in America "when the lives of people of color are too often valued less than the lives of white people."

O'Malley: Abolishing death penalty part of pushing King's vision forward - August 28, 2013 - Maryland Gov. Martin O'Malley (D) said that laws abolishing the death penalty, legalizing gay marriage and raising the minimum wage represented the modern "calling of conscience to action" while speaking Wednesday at the 50th anniversary of the March on Washington. The Maryland Democrat also warned that Americans must allow "no comfort in our country for the bigotry of cold indifference."
yea, bla bla bla...........and you liberals want 60% of black babies aborted.........cry me a river.
What phuquing hypocrites.
This S.O.B. has blood on his hands.
He is a particularly despicable liar.
It's just that we no longer care if they butcher each other.
eff off gov omalley
When the only Black on the NINE SUPREMES, and the only Black US Senator are excluded from the MLK jr Watershed Speech 50 th Anniversary Celebration, it is not difficult to jump to the conclusion that The Black Race Lobby in America is less interested in equality and superior achievement for Blacks than it is interested in excluding Blacks who do not agree with them politically.
If Blacks have become exclusive rather than inclusive toward their own Race, then what chance have any Non-Black Races of working together with Blacks?
Has this Exclude anyone who does not think like you attitude been taught to them by White Democrat Politicians?
Was this tactic used by White Democrat Politicians to return the Blacks to the Plantation Model, where only Da Man tells you what to think?
Dr. Thomas Sowell, Dr. Allen Keyes, Dr. Walter Williams and Dr. Carson are all Black intellectuals of note.
Were any of them invited to the MLK jr Speech Celebration?
If not, why not?
If The Dream in the speech is to become a reality, it must first start with Blacks including Blacks.
This simple first gesture would be a great example to all Races that seek The Dream of Dr. Martin Luther King, Junior.
it is true however, that we here in the hinterlands shrug our shoulders reading about the murders in Chicago, black on black, because no matter what we do or say, its either attacked or ignored...
it seems that blacks really don't care about other blacks, that's all I'm saying...
He has a lot of nerve saying that to the victims of Affirmative Action.
Maryland “Freak State” PING!
Please, there was wall-to-wall coverage and outrage over one black teen getting killed by a non-black. Meanwhile, no outrage over whites getting attacked by blacks.
Maybe it’s just time to break down into ethno-states. After all, if whites are so racist then why would “people of color” want us around?
Life is cheap in the inner city - due to the attitude and actions of their fellow ‘bros’.
I live in MD - O’Malley is a putz.
Just ask him how he allowed a gang to run the prison in Baltimore [and he knew all about it].
About a dozen guards are under indictment for working for the gang - one female guard has borne 2 children of the gang leader.
O’Malley is under the delusion that he can be Prez. But, despite his popularity within the state as Guv - 70% believe he would be a lousy Prez ...
NAACP raises questions about mayoral succession
Marvin L. Cheatham, the president of the Baltimore Chapter of the NAACP, introduced the resolution because he heard an attorney on a radio program discussing a lack of clarity on succession if Dixon were to be convicted and sentenced.
"Our concern is who would the governor appoint?" Cheatham said. "Here you have a predominantly African-American city. What if the governor appointed somebody white? ... Would he appoint someone Irish to be the mayor?"
“MD Governor: Lives of ‘People of Color’ Valued Less than Whites”
by their own aelves and their own leaders.
Even worse than Obie.
anyone else see a correlation between this statement and the fact “people of color” overwhelmingly vote demoKrat???
"I beg to differ."
