The moves are a setback for the U.S. bid to strike Syria militarily for its alleged chemical weapons use.
WASHINGTON The Obama administration's move to punish Syria's government for allegedly using chemical weapons in a deadly attack last week appeared to suffer a setback Wednesday when the U.S. failed to get United Nations approval for use of force and British support was thrown into question.
The collapse of diplomatic efforts aimed at securing a U.N. Security Council resolution condemning Syria was expected. The British impediment was not.

In the past, Odumbo has proven himself incapable of making even the most trivial of decisions. Now that he's faced with making a decision that could potentially spark WWIII he's probably crapping his pants.
One thing is certain...he has not a clue what he is doing.

I wouldn’t be at all surprised to hear someone mention how few black leaders there are in the UN.

If Obama does NOT act now, he loses all credibility on the world stage. If he does act, he risks launching the entire region into an escalating war of missiles and WMD. Moreover, Obama has so weakened the military through cuts after cuts after cuts that it probably cannot sustain (or afford!) a longer shooting war due to the limited funds it has and the fact that so many units are now not mission ready due to months of being grounded or not training due to the Sequester. On top of everything else, the Syrians have a Top of The Line air defense system courtesy of the Russians. This system is NO JOKE, and even the Israelis respect its lethality.

Today Daniel Hannan tweeted that you didn’t have to like Bush but you always knew he wouldn’t do something wildly erratic.

If he goes through with this the Left should be mocked non-stop because you know they will remain quiet if this takes place.
It would be so fun to mock these people non-stop, have rallies dressed up like them, use the same chants etc.
Remember:
I support the troops but I don't support the mission!

Many on the left believe Bush going after al queda in Afghanistan was erratic. Of course many on the left also believe Hussein and his cohorts when the say this country can spend itself out of debt. There is no shortage of idiots around. If there was there would be no democRAT party.

I so want to gloat if Obama goes through with this.
But this is the second time today I’ve heard about Syria’s capabilities along with Russian and Chinese backing.
There may not be a lot of gloating.
To: South40
So Russia was looking to veto it in the U.N., eh? We’re shocked.

Why should the Brits support Obama? They're not friends of his. He's made that abundantly clear. He has shit on all our best allies. He tried to make friends of our enemies while making enemies of our friends. Idiot!

Interesting the NSA and CIA have all this evidence that Assad launched
a chemical attack, but these agencies know NOTHING about Bengazi.
Also interesting this “crisis” just happens to appear when congress is
adjourned.
I don’t believe a word of it!
