“A Russian law prohibits insulting state authorities. Another law bans so-called homosexual propaganda aimed at minors.”
People should keep this in mind before praising Russia or Putin for the “homosexual propaganda” law. Laws like this, in Russia, are NOT intended to protect children, promote morality, or any of the other supposedly good purposes of the bill. They are intended to make it easier to silence political enemies.
Nah, I think Vlad’s all over that one! He sees it as mucho macho.

That’s GOTTA be photoshop. Obummer isn’t man enough to have boobs like that.
No. but instead, we have American laws that prohibit insulting homosexuals, and that ban information about how an unhappy gay minor might set themselves straight.
Bulcrap news. I’m somehow familiar with a Russian legal system and it is certainly not about to lock someone over a creepy painting like that.
Sure, they have a law criminalizing insults on officials but this law also specifies a nature of insult which is about throwing a body fluids on police officers and so on. This legislation was designed to protect patrolmen and prison personnel from unlawful behavior of their clients and used extremely rarely as a separate charge. It usually comes along with a violent resistance to arrest or something.
IMO this ‘artist’ wanted to live in France badly and inflating this faux scandal was his way to get asylum.
Really? No law against making fun of obozo? Tell that to the rodeo clown with the obozo mask.
Was he arrested and did he serve time in jail?
Well, thanks for your opinion.
