Iran knows that she and the US are going to have to battle—why not now with mr. limp wrist in charge? better to face Obama than say-—President Cruz, Palin, or even, heaven forbid, Hillary.

What's scary is there could be a miscalculation. IIRC, in the 1959 book, "Alas Babylon," where WWIII started with one rogue U.S. Navy pilot who went against orders and cross the line by taking on a Soviet MiG over Syria. He fired his sidewinder against the MiG but the sensor locked onto a locomotive pulling a Russian troop train in Syria where it blew up and things got out of control.
