If I were to read Das Kapital, I wouldn't read Marx himself but (to apply some Kirk-like gaming of my own -- see my last) would instead get a Cliff Notes version by someone who knew what he was talking about.

Someone like Milton Friedman.

That's problaly what I wound up doing with him cuz the internet hadn't been invented but I did learn that Marx was a real piece of work.....of which he did d^mned little of himself.

Certainly thought that way when I was going through college but I have changed now that I have aged and have the time to really absorb the classics.

Of course they are easy reads now that I can put them in context and not just running through them before I go on a hot date...

Sigh....
