Gessling said that since his skit sparked nation-wide controversy, he has received five death threats, as well as threats vowing to run him over and burn his house down.
“I didn’t do this to do any hating on anyone, I did it to be funny, I did it to be a joke,” he explained on Missouri’s KCTV 5, “This clown bit has been around for generations and I didn’t think anything more of it.”
Gessling said that rodeo clowns have done similar sketches with presidents George W. Bush, Bill Clinton, and Ronald Reagan.
When asked by an interviewer if he was a Democrat or a Republican, Gessling only responded, “I am a rodeo clown.”

Another poster commented on how the rodeo clown is finally defending himself. I would actually suspect he's been defending himself all along, but the "news" media suppressed that part of the story, and it's only now making its way into the open. Once most people find out that he did similar routines with Republican presidents, the "news" media will shut the story down el pronto. It's only purpose was to rile up the useful idiot libs.
Goebbels would be proud of our "news" media and I'm sure they would be delighted in the comparison.
