She ordered him to divulge his perspective on the subject. What the Hell was he supposed to do, IGNORE THAT DIRECT ORDER?
He obviously was reluctant to express his perspective by the way he handled the situation to that point, and I think he was right in doing so, BUT she gave him an order to respond. He did as he was told, she did not like his response.
I would believe that had he stated voluntarily without the inducement of a direct order from a superior officer THEN IMO he would have been against military policy. He was setup by a hardcore activist Lesbian in a position of power.
Personal opinion is those sort of people do not belong in the military be they male, or female.
