What kind of ‘’attacks’’ is our government planning to use against Syria that haven’t already been used with an extraordinary lack of success in our wars in Iraq and Afghanistan over the past decade?
Does Obama have a new secret weapon that can bring the combined forces of Syria and its allies, Iran and Russia, to their knees in weeks? If so, why haven’t we been using it in Afghanistan against the mere tribal groups we haven’t been able to overcome for twelve years?
And, of course, the Obama administration realizes that it will have to wrap everything up in just a few short months since Iran is expected to have its nuclear weapon ready for deployment by that time, and if we’re still at war with the Syria-Iran-Russian axis of hatred against the U.S., things could get very unpleasant for us.
Militarily, we have won the wars in both Iraq and Afghanistan. We have not lost any significant military engagement. The leaders of both countries were removed. It has been our political policies that have snatched defeat from the jaws of victory.
