Lets ask the Israelis how easy it was for them when they intervened in Lebanon’s civil war.
Israel took out Syria’s al-Kibar nuclear facility in 2007. No blow back from Syria or the Arab world or Russia or Iran. I doubt that there will be any significant reaction to a symbolic strike. Most of the countries in the region want Assad taken out. They fear the Iranian influence.
“Lets ask the Israelis how easy it was for them when they intervened in Lebanons civil war.”
So lets ask the Israelis to expend their treasure and lives instead of indebted Americans. It is in their back yard not ours. As far as I’m concerned the entire ME can turn into one big glass bubble.
Uhh, because one of the sides in that "civil" war was launching missiles at Israeli school children.
1982 saw Israeli forces capture and sorround West Beirut in a matter of days. Had the US, Italy, France not intervened Arafart and his scum would have fled to Tunis sooner.
The main problem was Israel sitting in its “Security buffer Zone”, 1985-2000. That was a disaster.
