Upon the anniversary of the March on Washington, John Lewis spoke to Meet the Press’ David Gregory about the legacy of the civil rights movement Sunday morning, encouraging America to embrace, not fear, the shifting demographics of the electorate that would put minorities in a place of political power.
“I think some forces want to create this sense of fear,” Lewis said. “They think that the country is moving too fast, or maybe becoming too progressive. The country’s not the same country. People are coming together. And in a short time, the minority will be the majority.”
Lewis is the sole surviving speaker of the 1963 march, and a longtime Democratic representative from Georgia.
“Is there backlash that comes with that?” Gregory asked.
“As Americans, we must be prepared to make that adjustment,” Lewis said. “Be courageous. Embrace the change.”
In the not too distant future, demographics will benefit the democrats, but not all will be well.

From the oceans rising, to oceans dying, global cooling to global warming to climate change, the left always has us sitting on the Eve of Destruction.
In the 70's I remember "Learned Professors" seriously telling me that by 2000 there would be no racial differences among Americans. Interbreeding would have worked it's magic to the extent that all babies would be born with a deep tan complexion and "won't that be nice"?
Still waiting on that one.
Bottom line, there is no MM global warming. If anything, the races are further apart than they were then and in spite of the alarmist predictions, the Black population actually is smaller today than it was then. The Hispanic population tsunami that has been tagged to overwhelm the nation isn't growing at anything near the prediction of a couple of years ago and frequently, when the economy takes one of its now regular dives, drops as the workers return to their homeland in search of better economic opportunities.

If Lewis and Sharpton keep up this rhetoric, they will scare people. It was obvious that the black leadership wanted to create an alliance with the new latino voters. The Republicans appear ready to vote themselves into oblivion.
With hispanics being the biggest group of all and blacks finding themselves at the bottom of the totem pole one more time.

Yes, empires do fall. But I don't see America "falling" in the sense that ancient Rome fell. I see the country breaking up along racial lines. Those who want to live with their own kind will do so. Those that don't will do so. Then we'll see who will thrive, prosper and prevail. This will be about civil war and race. Sorry to say that.
If and when they become the majority, they won’t be listening to much of anything we have to say or demand. They’ll be too busy hunting us and our children.

That already has happened here in California. The Blacks “helped” the Hispanics get elected. After the Hispanics became a power here, they told the Blacks essentially to FO! Blacks are the bottom of the barrel here, and they will soon be everywhere else if they aren’t already. Particularly if they continue to murder “white people,” because the Hispanics relate a lot more to whites than they do to blacks.

This post goes to the heart of the issue, as I see it: The future may not belong to the whites in this country — but that does not mean it belongs to the blacks, either.
Don’t forget the anti-father “family” court and divorce industry. If a (usually) white male has children he has the ever present threat of mom ditching him, taking the children, alienating them from him and then, adding insult to injury, taking 50% of his earnings for the next 18-26 years (usually 21+ years mandatory in white male hating BLUE states). Why would any white male want to procreate in today’s misandric environment? Minority males are not pursued with such fervor by the (mostly) white, female Child Support Enforcement case workers. To do so would be “racist.” /s
The fastest way to stop out of control foreign births (muzzies) is to introduce Western divorce culture, replacing Sharia law. And “equal opportunity” child support enforcement for minority men.
