Having lived in this area of Central Texas for 65 years I was puzzled reading your post about your daughter being in Lackland, Texas since I never heard of such a “town”. Now, there is a Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio where all, or nearly all, basic training for the Air Force is done. I suspect that is what you meant. Below is the official list of Texas Cities. As you can see, there is no Lackland, Texas. Kudo’s though to you and your daughter for her service!!!!
