""There is a mosque in almost every village in our township and we live a peaceful co-existence," he said as he headed to the scene, adding that at least one mosque was burned down in the violence."

That's a problem. A base for the blood cult in almost every village. The Muslims cannot live in peace with non-Muslims. Their belief system is one of conquest, subjugation and death. All others need to recognize this and act on this knowledge.

More than that. "Northwestern Myanmar" borders Bangladesh. They are getting muslims illegally immigrating from Bangladesh, and then blending into the existing Muslim communities. Something like the US's issue with Hispanics, only potentially deadlier.

The Buddhists realize they must deal with the situation before it becomes too big to control.

True.

The word "Islam" is usually translated as "submission," other than by idiots who think it means "peace," or say they do, anyway.

Ideologically, though perhaps not etymologically, I suggest it should more accurately be translated as "subjugation," or possibly "domination."
